SmashingPads is a soundboard site for anyone who wants to use it — casual fun, memes, or content creation. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
Experimental, early-stage project
SmashingPads is a very early, experimental project under active development. It is not a finished product, is not intended for reliance in any commercial, professional, or mission-critical context, and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice — including deletion of stored boards or content. It is operated by an independent individual, not a registered company, on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from your use of the site or from content submitted by any user, including yourself.
Who can use SmashingPads
You must be at least 16 years old to use this site. SmashingPads is a general-audience product and is not directed at children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected content or information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it — see our Privacy Policy for details.
What you can do here
You can record or upload short audio clips and images to create sound pads, arrange them on a board, and optionally share that board with others via a link. No account or sign-up is required.
Your content
You keep ownership of any audio, images, or other content you upload or record ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant SmashingPads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, reproduce, and display it solely for the purpose of operating the site and any board you choose to share.
You're solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the necessary rights to it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to upload, record, or share content that:
- Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
- Is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone
- Contains malware or anything intended to damage or disrupt the site
We may remove content or a shared board that violates these Terms at any time, without notice.
Board sharing
Sharing a board gives anyone with the link the ability to view and play it. Editing a board requires a separate private key generated for you when you create the share link — don't share that key with anyone you don't want to be able to edit or delete your board.

No warranty
SmashingPads is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your content will never be lost — back up anything important to you.

Governing law
